Immigrating to Panama - an easy way?

Almost. As a citizen of one of the 50 "friendly nations" you now have a window of opportunity. The permanent residence permit in credit card format is payable and feasible. The costs are extremely low compared to other countries. For less than $5,000 (even less for family members and pensioners), you can start in the new country or at least have your Plan B for the future in your pocket.

The following states are covered by the "Friendly Nation" programme, whereby the spouse may also have a different nationality as a "dependent applicant":

A criminal record extract without entries. This extract must be signed with an international apostille for Panama.

For pensioners with a state pension of at least $ 1'000,- this is the only condition they have to fulfill!

If your document has a bagetell penalty as an entry, my partner law firm can arrange an individual case examination in advance ($ 400.-).

The formal founding of a Panama company. It remains inactive until you want to earn money with it or liquidate it afterwards.

Alternatively, the construct of an "employment contract" can be selected. The details of this service must be discussed personally.

The opening of a bank account is unfortunately the most difficult part of the process, but with the mediation of the lawyer's office it is well feasible. 
 

You have to deposit $ 5'000,- into this account, $ 2'000,- for each "dependent" family member. 

This money is yours, and you can dispose of it after completing the formalities.
